Saturday- Noon Game

If you are looking for something to do this Saturday, February 27th (62 degrees and sunny!), the Golf Shop will offer a noon game for any members that would like to play (begins at 12:00 pm).  Cost for the event is $10 and the format will be determined by the number of players.  There are still plenty of available tee times if you do not want to play in the noon shotgun that will use holes #1 through #4.

Please call the Golf Shop to register.  Registration closes at 10:30 am on Saturday.

Golf Course Update

The golf course has finally thawed out which will allow us to open for play tomorrow, Friday, February 26th.  Due to EXTREMELY wet conditions, we will not allow push carts to be used on the course on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday.  We will reassess this situation next week and hopefully be able to allow push carts for play.  The cart rule will be CART PATH ONLY for the foreseeable future.

The putting green will reopen today, and the range will continue to be open using the mats.

Golf Course Update

Due to the snow and the extremely cold temperatures that we experienced last week the golf course will be closed.  Currently the earliest that we expect the course to open would be this coming Saturday, February 27th.  There are many areas of the course that are currently frozen, and we also will have to wait for some areas to drain before anyone can be allowed on the golf course.  Please keep an eye out for more updates throughout the week.

We will open the driving range on Tuesday but will be limited to hitting off the mats.  The putting green will be closed until further notice due to freezing and thawing.

Golf Shop Closure

Due to the current weather and potential for more ice today the Golf Shop will be closed.  We will reassess weather conditions tomorrow and make a decision on shop hours.  If you need anything please email Chad Martin, PGA Director of Golf, at cmartin@ccofpaducah.com.  Please stay safe and hopefully spring is right around the corner!

Weekly Golf Update

It’s hard to believe that we are already more than half way through January.  Your golf professionals are back in the shop and look forward to seeing our members out using the club.  We have a good forecast this week, so I expect to see some activity on the golf course.  If you plan to play the 11:00 am to 12:30 pm slots are the most sought after, please make sure to make a tee time to reserve your preferred tee time.

If you are looking for something to do this Saturday, January 23rd, the Golf Shop will offer a noon game for any members that would like to play (begins at 12:00 pm).  Cost for the event is $10 and the format will be determined by the number of players.  There are still plenty of available tee times if you do not want to play in the noon shotgun that will start on the back 9.

The Golf Shop had a great holiday season and we are down to minimal apparel inventory.  This week we will offer 10% off on all in-stock apparel and 20% off on all in-stock golf bags.

Lastly, all golfers should have received an email from the USGA regarding renewing your GHIN app.  Please see the info below and make sure to update your GHIN status.

Yesterday there was an update to the GHIN Mobile App requiring a password to log into the App to post a score going forward. This is also required on www.ghin.com. Golfers who have an active GHIN account and an email on file were sent an email from the USGA last week regarding this and how to complete their digital profile. Below are the instructions on what golfers need to help field questions you may get from your members.

What do you need to create a Password?

1.  The email address listed in your GHIN account (which is the one they should have received the original email from the USGA on)
2.  Your GHIN # or Last Name
3.  An active GHIN account

If you need to change information or add an email to an account, please contact your club or the Kentucky Golf Association to make the change.

You CANNOT share an email address.  Each person must have their own in order to complete the password creation.

How do you create a Password?

Use the link in the email from the USGA that was sent last week. The email subject was: ACTION REQUIRED: Complete your GHIN Digital Profile!
