THE CHILI OPEN

On Saturday, March 7th we will offer our first golf event of 2020, the Chili Open.  I know that our weather could be unpredictable at this time of year, but my “southern” background is already getting tired of waiting for tournament season.  This event will be played in the same format as our popular Wednesday Evening Men’s Night (but it is open for all members).  To sign up for the event please use the tournament link above.  It looks like we are going to have good weather so plan on 18 holes of 4 or 5 person scramble.  Cost for the event is $20 and we will offer a F&B event following play.

Busy Weekend & Online Tee Times

It’s nice to finally see some sunshine and warmer temperatures here at CCP.  With this better weather the golf course will be busier than normal this Saturday and Sunday.  I highly recommend making a tee time as the popular time slots are already filling up quickly for this weekend.  PLEASE NOTE that the online tee time service is available to all members.  See below for instructions if you have not registered for this service.  I look forward to the start of spring and seeing more golfers out here at our wonderful facility.

If you did not enroll in the online tee time system in 2019, I highly recommend registering for the 2020 season.  To begin using the online tee time service all you have to do is go to the club website and register to use the online service.  Listed below is a link and examples of how to register for online tee time use.  If you have any questions regarding the system please contact the Golf Shop and we will be glad to assist.

Once you are registered you will not have to register again.  This service gives you online access to the tee sheet through the website and through the CCP app.

Please see the link and instructions below for the Member Registration process.

56 & Sunny on Sunday!

I know it’s hard to think about golf on this dreary Wednesday, but it’s going to be 56 degrees and sunny this Sunday.  For anyone that is interested in teeing it up on Sunday we are going to offer a 12:30 pm shotgun for all members that would like to play.  We will offer a blind draw chapman points game.  Cost to play will be $10 cash, please respond to this email or call the Golf Shop if you would like to play.  Please sign up as an individual, but we can accommodate requested pairings.  Entries will close at 11:00 am on Sunday.

Give to Get Sale

Good Afternoon,

For the remainder of February your CCP Golf Shop will offer a “Give to Get” sale, on all in-stock apparel.  The basis of this sale is to help support our local homeless shelter by bringing them as many coats, shirts, etc… as possible.

Here’s how the sale will work, for every item of apparel that you bring to donate (old shirts, coats, etc..) you will receive 5% off any in-stock apparel purchase.  You can bring as many items as you like, but the total discount per item will max out at 30% off.  Please come out and help support your local community, as well as getting some great savings on fall/winter apparel.

WE ALREADY HAVE 14 PLAYERS REGISTERED FOR GOLF THIS SUNDAY.  PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR MORE INFO.

ALSO FOR THOSE WISHING TO STAY AFTER GOLF AND WATCH THE SUPER BOWL THE SPORTS BAR WILL HAVE THE BIG GAME ON WITH PLENTY OF FOOD & BEVERAGE SPECIALS.  PLEASE RSVP TO HAYLEY IF YOU PLAN TO ATTEND.

I know it’s February and golf is on the back burner for a lot of our members, but it’s going to be 60 degrees and sunny this Sunday.  For anyone that is interested in teeing it up on Sunday we are going to offer a noon shotgun for all members that would like to play.  We will offer a blind draw chapman points game.  Cost to play will be $10 cash, please respond to this email or call the Golf Shop if you would like to play.  Please sign up as an individual, but we can accommodate requested pairings.  Entries will close at 11:00 am on Super Bowl Sunday.  My goal is to have everyone off of the course and headed home or to the Sports Bar for your Super Bowl parties by 4:30 pm.

Golf Shop Reopening

Good Afternoon,

Your CCP Golf Shop is back open and ready for 2020. During the months of January and February our hours are 10:00 am to 4:00 pm Tuesday through Sunday.

We just received our fitting cart components for the new Callaway Mavrick and Taylor Made Sim drivers, fairways, hybrids, and irons. If you have any interest in this new product we can schedule a fitting outdoors (weather permitting) or in our indoor bay at the tennis bubble.
