Even though we can not have our pool party & buffet due to COVID-19, we will be open! The restaurant and the Sport Bar will be open until 8pm. We will be closed on Tuesday this week instead of Monday.

The governor is allowing aquatic centers to open June 1st. The guidelines for operating our pool as an aquatic center are very, very restrictive. But at least it is a start.
The pool is now filled. We still need to get a new state mandated valve to work properly, then get the Ph and chlorine balanced. If the new valve and pipes do not hold us up, we plan to have the pool inspected by the health department and open on June 1st or soon thereafter.
Unfortunately, the aquatic center rules only allow training in lanes. Due to that and other restrictions we will only be able to have two people in the pool at one time. We will be setting up a plan for reserving a lane and communicating that to you soon.
The board and I want to assure you that we are doing everything we can, in our power, to open the pool as quickly and to the fullest extent as possible. This includes joining other clubs in the region and apartments complexes in a letter writing campaign and proposals to encourage the Governor to provide some relief to the current restrictions.
The governor has recently given some hope that, pool rules may relax at the end of June. We hope these restrictions will be lifted in a meaningful way much sooner.

CCP Weekend Tee Time Policy
The following guidelines have been put in place by the CCP Golf Committee to allow all members equitable rights to weekend tee times at the Country Club of Paducah. Any member booking more than one tee time for their group must fill each tee time booked by 5:00 pm on Thursday. Any tee times that are not filled as of 5:00 pm on Thursday will then go out as open tee times. Also, groups will be consolidated to fit the number of times necessary. For example if a group books four tee times and only has 12 players they will be put into foursomes which would free up the fourth tee time. These guidelines have been put in place to ensure that all prime weekend tee times are available to our members. Please contact Chad Martin, PGA Head Professional for any questions or additional information.
Also, please note that we will return to normal Saturday hours on Saturday, June 6th. Tee times will begin at 7:30 am and there will be limited tee times available off of #10 tee.
Carts will be allowed to go in the Cart Path Side Rough today. Please do not drive around any fairways to go to the opposite side rough. Holes #3, #15, & #16 will be CART PATH ONLY as they are extremely wet.
Thankfully, we are finally able to reopen the restaurant on Friday May 22nd! The state of Kentucky issued six pages of rules for restaurants to follow in order to re-open. These rules will impact how we operate. I will summarize our new operations below.
The rule that most people are aware of is the 33% occupancy rule. That combined with the social distance of six feet will certainly change the look of our dining spaces. With this rule in mind, reservations will be more important than ever. If someone arrives without a reservation and we have reached our 33% capacity, will have to ask them to wait outside or in their car and social distance. We will call them once we have available space.
One of the more difficult rules, is the rule that requires people from different households to be seated at different tables. This rule along with the rules that requires groups to be no larger than 10 people, will greatly impact the way we socialize at the club.
